Trouble Shooting Common Issues in Blown Film Extruder Machines

These are special machines that convert plastic pellets into thin sheets of plastic film. It is very important to have such inventions as they do many different jobs, ranging from packaging food to keeping it fresh and assisting farmers in pushing out their produce. However, like any machine they may occasionally require fine-tuning. This is why Feige Youlian Machinery wants to let you know how you can discover and repair similar standard issues working with these machines.

How to Locate and Correct Feed Zone Blockages

The infeed opens up to where the plastic pellets are inserted for transformation into film. The corn can sometimes clog in thos ara. This can prevent the machine like Pipe Extrusion Machine from working correctly and thus stop production. This can be a cause of delay and problem in working.

Start by turning off the machine so it is safe for you to clear a blockage. Now you will have to remove the upper portion where the plastic pellets which go in. Then you will be able to gently unblock the obstacle with a long, fine-shaped object, such as a wire. Very first and the most important thing, when you are turning back the machine on, make sure that you have taken out pieces of plastics which breaks off. This ensures that you not have the rest of integrated issues.

Correcting Problems With Melt Temperatures

It is the hot temperature a plastic reaches internally when it is made into film which we refer to as melt heat. If the temperature fluctuates too significantly, it could inhibit proper function of machine- succession in pipeline breaking and cause potential production issues. One of the more typical causes why this happens is when the water heater in your machine fails.

The cause of this problem is the heater so first, inspect the heater. If you see the heater not working, you shall also require a new heater. After checking out the heater, see if your temperature sensors look all right. At times, these sensors are somewhat must be changed to ensure the temp is 'perfect. If you have set the desired temperature right obviously your work will be better and get good quality of film.

To accommodate irregular film thickness and width.

At times, the plastic film that the machine like Blow Molding Machine generates may be of inconsistent thickness and width. It can happen because the two different components of the machine are not perfectly aligned. If the film is unbalanced it may be weaker and susceptible to breaking under stress.

Here you need to do if the parts of the machine are interlaced or syncing well. Make sure that all the syllables are line up correctly, and if they are not, rearrange them so that everything is where it needs to be. If the alignment is alright, then you must inspect the screw design from inside of the machine. If the screw is incorrect, it must be replaced with a new one to avoid uneven film outlet.

Edge Trimming and Wrinkles Fix

Thus the wrinkles and additional edges of the film can occur due to various reasons. Well why this may or could occur for any of the reasons set in the machine parts like Plastic Pipe Production line not accurately situated or that the cooling system isn't working enough. These issues impact the quality of the movie that is being made.

Before you begin, take a look to see the distances between machine parts. If the gap is at an incorrect setting you also have to readjust it to the correct measurement. Is the gap okay, then check the roll tension. Sometimes, changing this tension can even help to improve the film quality. Finally, ensure the cooling system is functioning correctly because it requires good cooling for producing high-quality sheet.

Eliminating Streak and Ghosting in the Film Substrate

At times, the film can be streaky or ghosts and look ugly. This may occur due to many different reasons ranging from just a case of dirty or worn out rollers to the machine parts not being adequately aligned. It can influence on the look of an entire movie and its quality.

To address uneven printing, begin by inspecting the rollers for damage or wear. If you find that the rollers are damaged or they are worn out then you have to replace them with the new ones. If the rolls are in good condition check the alignment of both the extruder screw and die. You might have to do some fine tuning in order to get everything lined up properly.
